This large, 4.5 Inch long semi-complete Megalodon fossilized tooth was found off the coast of Florida, USA.
Other than the broken root, this is a very high grade tooth with very detailed serration down both edges of the tooth and great intact blackened enamel.
Megalodon is a Massive species of shark that lived approximately 15.9 to 2.6 million years ago, during the Cenozoic Era (middle Miocene to end of Pliocene).
Megalodon is regarded as one of the largest and most powerful predators in vertebrate history, Fossil remains suggest that this giant shark reached a maximum length of 18 meters (59 ft). Scientists suggest that Megalodon looked like a stockier version of the great white shark.
