A piece of the mysterious Libyan Desert Glass which has been fitted with Sterling Silver to be worn as a pendant.
Libyan Desert Glass commonly known as Libyan Gold is a mysterious substance found deep in the Libyan Desert. The origins of this glass strewn over an area stretching some tens of kilometers is still a controversial issue. Many believe the glass is of Meteoric origins and is the last evidence of a massive impact 26 million years ago. Others believe the glass was formed after sand was exposed to the thermal radiation of a nuclear explosion caused by large aerial bursts from a single or multiple meteorites.
